Heaven

June 27, 2009

I’m stuffing the car, getting ready for two weeks at the house on Cape Cod.  Natalie will fly in from California.  The boys will straggle in on their own time with their cars.   It’s my favorite time in my favorite place in all the world.  I’ll take plenty of photos and share.  You’ll smell the “steamers” cooking, right through your computer.  Happy days….

Oh, that does sound like heaven! Enjoy your time with family and 2 weeks of relaxation. And have a dozen steamers for me :-)

Thank you Marcia, I arrived a short time ago and it’s great to be here. I’ll have at least a dozen steamers for you, and perhaps a lobstuh roll too. Hugs from the Cape, Maureen

Maureen if you come home as happy as you leave, you have had a good vacation! Enjoy.

Maureen-
Ahhh….envy! I hope you have a wonderful 2 weeks with fair weather and time with the kids…making memories.
My only consolation for now…as you are sadly leaving, I will be joyfully arriving!
Don

Hi Don, yes, and your consolation now will be mine two weeks from now. As I’m regretfully driving west on the mid-cape highway, I’ll be thinking of you coming in the other direction. I promise to leave some lobsters at the fish market for you. But not many. :) Maureen

Thank you Dr. Bill. I’m sure I will feel just that way. Thanks for thinking of me. Maureen

Lobsters…can’t wait. Once, on a dare, I ate lobster every day I was there…7 days of some form of lobster…omelet, roll, whole, or just a bowl of meat at a place called Chapin’s Restaurant. It got a little old, but not much. Between the two of us, we could make the lobster industry work overtime!
Looking forward to your next “Cape” posting!
Don

Lobster for seven days! Yum! And this summer it’s affordable. The crash of the lobster market is making big news here. I’ll write an update real soon. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had much computer time. Thanks Don! Maureen
